The ASH Research Collaborative
The ASH Research Collaborative (ASH RC) is a nonprofit accelerating research and care for blood diseases like Sickle Cell Disease and Multiple Myeloma.
We partnered with their team to design a suite of tools that simplify data access, streamline research workflows, and support better outcomes: from public-facing portals to backend quality systems.
Result
Together with ASH RC, we designed and delivered a unified experience across multiple data-driven platforms.
From streamlining data access for researchers to ensuring standardised data capture at clinical sites, each tool we built contributes to a broader ecosystem that accelerates research, improves collaboration, and supports better care for patients with blood disorders.
Whether it’s enabling early detection through newborn screening or helping scientists quickly locate relevant patient cohorts, our work supports ASH RC’s mission at every level: smarter studies, stronger data, and better outcomes.
Newborn screening app
The Newborn Screening tool plays a critical role in identifying infants with SCD as early as possible, enabling preventive care and long-term intervention.
We designed a lightweight yet robust interface for healthcare providers to submit, track, and manage screening data. Accessibility, clarity, and speed were key: the tool had to work across varied contexts (from global health settings to local hospitals), while staying compliant and user-friendly.
It’s a small touchpoint with big implications, helping children with SCD receive better care from the very beginning.
